Douglas, Daher, Ph.D. C. Psych.
Associate
Dr. Douglas Daher, a registered psychologist in the Province of Ontario and in California is on the clinical staff of the counselling and skills learning centre at University of Toronto. Prior to joining Fleming Vigna Balmer, he worked as a clinician and taught at Stanford University in California for 25 years. Dr. Daher has presented over 40 lectures and workshops in North America and he has taught courses on grief and loss for the past ten years. He has published 16 professional articles and his book, And the Passenger Was Death: The Drama and Trauma of Losing a Child, was released in 2003 (Baywood Publishing).
Dr. Daher works with both individuals and couples. His role as a therapist involves recognizing the depth of suffering we endure through our disruptive moods, unexpected crises, struggles with meaning, and the disruptive ambivalences in so many of our relationships.
